There are three modes: Solo Mode, Start-a-Band Mode, and Join-a-Band Mode.

Solo Mode: You are the only member of the band and you can simply shake and play some nice music for yourself.

Start-a-band Mode: Get social starting your own Samba Band and invite other users nearby to come join and play along with you. You'll hold the master instrument, and when you stop everyone else stops playing at the same time!

Join-a-band Mode: Choose from existing nearby bands and simply jump in to start playing an instrument within that band!
