What is it about?

This app provides enhancements to the relationship between Wolftrap Animal Rescue, based in Northern Virginia, and their adopters as well as their event/foster volunteers. By downloading this app, users will be able to search for up-to-date adoptable pets and view specific details related to each pet – as well as set reminders for adoption events. This app also allows users who are interested in volunteering and/or fostering pets to search for opportunities hosted by WTAR. The volunteer/foster participants are able to fill out applications and sign up to attend the specific session. Users will also be able to activate push notifications, allowing WTAR staff to send reminders and emergency alerts related to their operation. In addition, everyone will be able to view a custom social media feed, enabling anyone to view WTAR posts on Instagram and Facebook, even if the user does not have a Facebook or Instagram account! For those who wish to donate to WTAR, they can take advantage of the app as an easy-to-use gateway to contribute to the WTAR cause.
