YAhealth

Youth & Adolescent Health (YAhealth) is a youth-friendly app designed to avail sexual and reproductive health information and basic services. It is simple, free of charge, and private, so you can easily learn, chat and discuss with your peers and health care providers on SRH.
YAhealth is a Software project of Community Health Boosters developed with funding from USAID (United States Agency for International Development) Through Ingobyi Activity implemented by IntraHealth International.
This Platform for Adolescent and youth that can be accessed both Offline and Online in both English and Kinyarwanda.
It is user age group centered starting from 10-14, 15-19, and 20-24 to give appropriate and accurate information to every one according to his/her age.
YAhealth content has both written and Audio-Visual Content with both Audio, Video, GIF, Infographic, Illustration, and infographic.
Discussion forums allow Adolescents and Youth to discuss freely and break the silence and stigma around Sexual and Reproductive health. There is a Chat service where everyone can ask any private question and get feedback and support from a health care provider easily and privately.
Using the Menstrual cycle tracking system, girls and women can track the menstrual cycle and receive notification before the next period.
To get SRH Services, YAhealth directs and connects youth to health care facilities through the Service tracking system.
It has gamified Quizzes with reward points where adolescents and youth who respond well and get high points will be rewarded.
YAhealth was developed with aim of Creating a rapid demand and Increase awareness and uptake of FP/ASRH services in Rwandan youth through youth-friendly, confidential and private means.
