Youth-GEMs App

Welcome to the Youth-GEMs App, crafted as part of the EU research project Youth-GEMs (https://youth-gems.eu/), dedicated to enhancing the assessment and monitoring of mental health among young individuals. Designed to be seamlessly integrated into a clinical trial spanning six different centers across Europe, this app leverages smartphone sensors to gather valuable insights into mobility, physical activity, and sleep patterns. Through features such as voice recording and text input, the app aims to analyze user interactions to discern emotional states. Additionally, users can engage with the My Life Tracker questionnaire, offering a short overview of their overall wellbeing.
As an integral component of the broader Youth-GEMs study, this application is meant to be a research tool, which will use AI-driven mechanisms to empower both youths and clinicians in the early detection, prediction, and ongoing monitoring of mental ill-health trajectories in youth.
