This app shows the lives of the children in the huge Zaatari refuge camp, through their own photos, with the goal of encouraging people to support education projects for the children in the camp. The children have left the Syrian civil war and now live in the Zaatari camp in Jordan. Journalist Maria Korkurc and photographer Pål Sørum Schaathun took the initiative to the photo project in Zaatari. They stayed for a month in the camp, together with the children and youth of the refugee camp. Twenty girls and boys were given the opportunity to learn taking photos and tell their stories - and contribute to young Syrian voices being heard.
