-SELL: List your leftover materials, tools and equipment in zipCAT’s 17 different categories such as: interior/exterior materials, industrial equipment/materials, landscaping, vehicles, trailers and more! Make money on items you would have tossed into the dumpster! Selling is easy when you can do it right from your phone, while you’re on a job site!
- BUY: Buy local left-over or used materials, equipment and tools, and save money while also keeping these items out of our landfills!
- FIND WORKERS: Do you have a small job that needs doing? List the opportunity in zipCAT’s WORK section. Include a detailed description, and the price you’re willing to pay for the work. You’ll be notified when your work listing is “bought”. Both you and the “buyer/worker” will be emailed each other’s contact information. Both parties have 72 hours to discuss the work and accept or decline the transaction for any reason. If your transaction is declined, your listing will return to active status.
- FIND WORK: Looking for extra work? Check zipCAT’s WORK section for local listing opportunities. View the Work description and the amount the Work/Seller pays. Click “Buy” to pay zipCAT’s 5% Finder’s Fee of the Job-price. Then both you and the “Seller” will be emailed each other’s contact information. Both parties have 72 hours to discuss the details and either Accept or Decline the transaction. If the transaction is declined by either party, for any reason, your 5% payment is retuned.
- FIND LICENSED COMPANIES AND CONTRACTORS, as well as INDIVIDUALS, for HIRE. Looking for work to be completed in your home, or office? Check zipCAT’s Hiring Directory for local professional companies (with business licenses) and individuals in many fields. Rate your experience to help the next zipCAT Team-Player with their next hiring choice!
- ADVERTISE YOUR COMPANY OR YOURSELF: List your company or yourself in zipCAT’s Hiring Directory. Include the types of services you provide, your milage radius, business license number (for Companies), and contact information. Plus, you can include your website and social media links.
- ADVERTISE: Purchase advertising space on zipCAT’s “Top of the Page” scrolling banner. As user’s search, your ad will appear at the top of the search page when your ad’s milage area falls within the user’s search area.
Other awesome features: Use zipCAT’s Location settings to search 3 different ways: 1. Your profile address, 2. your current GPS address or, 3. manually type in an address. Save Listings to your “Favorites”. Follow seller’s who’s items you like. Rate your transactions to help improve the quality of the zipCAT community. Save your created listing in drafts, until you’re ready to publish. Re-publish your listing without re-creating it. Manage your listings with the ability to edit or delete them at any time. Use zipCAT’s in-app camera, or your own photo library, to upload pictures of items for sale or Work for hire.
Join a community and create connections. Every transaction on zipCAT connects 2 zipCAT users. Through these initial transactions, other opportunities become available for additional indirect-transactions, resulting in more profits and savings for zipCAT users.
Anyone can become a zipCAT Team-Player. Payment and Payout accounts are secured through PayPal or STRIPE, a third-party payment processing company. In-app purchases and fees include but are not limited to: listing fees, platform transaction fee, finder’s fee, and advertisements for “Top-of-the-Page” and in the Hiring Directory.
