Zone weights loss provides the following free features
- Challenge mode
Trend chart
Set a goal weight and we will show you a trend chart with three main colours: Green? You are losing more that half a kilogram / 1 pound per week and are in the zone. Yellow? You are losing weight but you should step it up a little to get in the zone. Red? We have detected you are gaining weight, think of it as your own personal trainer telling you to step it up!
Other apps show a trend line over 7 days, 30 days, 60 days and more. This is because the trend calculations rely on fixed windows. Zone Weight Loss knows exactly when trend changes occurred we don't need fixed windows. We can tell you if your trend began 7 days ago, or 40 days ago and its free!
- Predictions
When you are in the zone we show you weekly weight loss predictions until you reach your goal. Great to know if you will reach your goal weight for an important event.
- Maintenance mode
Step change chart
Set your ideal weight range and stay in the zone. Similar to weight loss mode however we stop showing you trends and show you step changes in your average weight. When your current average is out of the zone it’s time to switch back to challenge mode and get back on track
5 day outlook
We will show you the effect of recording no progress for the next five days. See all green? Relax you are safely in the zone. See red? Time to step it up or you will soon be out of your ideal weight range.
- Transformation Photos
You are in the zone but you don’t see the progress in the mirror? Create a progress album that allows you to take perfectly aligned photos that can be used to generate a time-lapse video. Nothing is more motivating than seeing how far you’ve come
- Health app integration
Have a smart scale that integrates with the health app? Zone Weight Loss can import all you data. Want to share your weight data entered using the app. We also can export your weight data so it can be consumed by other apps. We also can automate the syncing process so you never need to enter a weight
Compare your progress against other measurements tracked in the Health App so you can correlate weight changes with Health App data. For example you can see when you increase your daily step count your weight loss rate also improves.

Select a hypothetical weight from the weigh picker and see how your trends will be effected. Currently out of the zone? See how sometimes a small change in weight can get you back in the zone. In the zone? See how small weight gains may still leave you in the zone. Time to plan a cheat meal?
- Trend momentum
A unique feature that shows you what would happen if you recorded no progress for the next 5 days. The more green indicates you are safely in the zone, your trend is strong and it’s time to relax. The more red, think of it as your own personal trainer telling you to step it up. Trend momentum helps you avoid plateaus.
