While business is increasingly global, insurance regulation remains local, so multinational companies have to satisfy various local insurance laws and tax regulations - no matter where they operate. Finding your way in this complex and changing regulatory world presents significant challenges.
To support corporate customers and brokers in designing international programs, Zurich has developed Zurich Multinational Insurance Application (Zurich MIA). Zurich MIA contains the local insurance laws and taxes regulations across 180 countries and 41 lines of business for "non-admitted" business, regularly updated by our lawyer network and global tax advisory. The data is very easily accessible through the 5 business scenarios covering the most common practical situations encountered in international insurance programs (non-admitted ground up, DIC/DIL, Excess and where the policyholder and insurer are in different countries).
This multi-award winning tool is now available as a mobile version for your iPad which offers the same functionality than the standard web application. You can now simply and easily utilize the power of the information provided by Zurich MIA wherever you go, in off-site meetings, whilst with clients or during travel.
As a market leader in multinational solutions, Zurich offers its knowledge and expertise to the marketplace to help deliver greater certainty in an uncertain world.
