ROSCA model work by allowing a group of individuals to contribute a fixed amount of money on a monthly or weekly basis. The total amount collectively saved is then paid to one member in the group. This activity carries on until all members are paid. This means that the first person to receive payment is essentially loaning the majority of the money he receives and the last to receive payment has saved by loaning to others in the group. ROSCA is a popular form of saving and is used throughout the world.
