Apple released the new 2.0.1 firmware upgrade for iPhone and iPod Touch users, citing simply "bug fixes" as details. It appears this update brings a faster iTunes sync (specifically backup) and also more responsive SMS typing.
Additionally, and even more importantly for some of you, there ARE some implications about updating to 2.0.1 firmware if you've already jailbroken or 'pwned' your device. We'll consolidate all the answers and have something for you shortly regarding this, but as of now you should hold off on 2.0.1 until all of the information is available.
