Deleting Apple's Official Apps From iPhone

September 17, 2008

A story posted by Macenstein tells the tale of deleting official Apple apps from an iPhone. While pressing down on an icon will cause all 3rd party apps to jiggle and display a small "x" that will allow deletion, Apple apps (i.e. Stocks, Weather, Clock, etc.) aren't removable . . . at least, by this method. Macenstein reveals in a how-to article the method for being able to delete Apple's apps. For this, you'll need:
  • 1 - An iPhone
  • 2 - A Wi-Fi connection and iTunes account
  • 3 - About 5-10 minutes of time
  • 4 - 9 pages of apps on your iPhone
