After the enigmatic debut of Gates & Seinfeld in their first commercial, the pair are back for part deux. These commercials are obviously geared to reposition and rebrand Microsoft as an entire company, not to ship more copies of Vista or Office. Jerry and Bill set out to live and connect with "real" people, just as Microsoft is trying to get reacquainted with the needs and wants of average consumers.
Having the geeky & stoic Gates, whose persona is immutably tied to Microsoft, team up with Seinfeld, the charismatic funny-man, seems like a great recipe for humanizing the Redmond beast.
