Seinfeld Not In On Microsoft's Latest Ads

September 18, 2008

It appears Microsoft's latest ad campaign, the first and second installments of which featured Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld, is headed for some major changes. According to a New York Times report, upcoming Microsoft commercials will NOT be featuring Jerry Seinfeld, who made an alleged $10M for his appearances. It appears Microsoft will begin featuring "I'm a Mac and I'm a PC" parodies, hoping to take a bite back out of Apple. The campaign is also set to feature cameos from some high-profile celebs, including Eva Longoria, Deepak Chopra, and Pharrell Williams. Here's to hoping Microsoft's plan includes sending out a little clear, focused, and to the point message with this phase.
