Review: Deal Or No Deal: Million Dollar Mission
December 17, 2008
Overview
This game is based on the “hit” NBC show of the same name and unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past year or two, I shouldn’t need to explain it to you. Sigh. But I’ll give it a try. Okay, there are 26 silver cases. You have to choose one. But you don’t open it till the end. The game works like this. You choose cases at random. Inside each case is a cash value. You don’t want to pick the high values. (Again, you’re picking at random). After so many picks, a “banker” offers to buy your case from you. Depending on how many high values are left in play, his offer will be considerably higher. Fascinating, right? Yeah. If you take the offer, game’s over. If you play to the bitter end, you have a 1 in 26 chance of winning a million dollars. That’s what it all comes down to. If you’re wondering what those odds are - it’s a 3.8 percent chance. Feelin' lucky?
