Sushi in the App Store

Japanese publishing company Shogakukan plans to cater to consumers of raw fish with their latest food related App, scheduled to hit the App Store any day now. Available for the iPhone and iPod Touch, this application will be a treat for Sushi lovers. Currently, the only iPhone app for fans of uncooked seafood is Sushi Addict, a program that tells you where the closest sushi slinger is. The company also gave those iPeople who can read Japanese an app that will help keep track of the fifty basic kinds of mushrooms in Japan. The mushroom App, released earlier this month, is in Japanese and entirely useless to anyone outside of the land of the rising sun. "The Shushi Catalogue" promises to have an English edition -- eventually. It's hard to say what this app will do - besides list 82 different types of sushi - until it is released and we get an English version, using the translation widget on my MacBook is only moderately effective. According to Shogakukan,
