EA Mobile is giving iPhone gamers even more to be excited about this year. They have announced their 2009 iPhone game lineup and it is full of well known titles from various platforms.
The titles that were announced at this year's GDC include FIFA '10, Madden '10, NBA Live '10, American Idol, Spore Creatures, SSX, Wolfenstein RPG, Command & Conquer, Clue, Risk, Mystery Mania, Connect 4, Battleship and Monopoly. This is in addition to their previously announced titles that included Need For Speed Undercover, The Sims 3, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, and Anytime Pool.
When asked how the complex controls for their sports titles would translate to the iPhone, EA's Travis Boatman stated, "We're taking those challenges head on."
EA is taking an extremely active role in iPhone game development which should help solidify the device as a contender in the mobile games market, if it hasn't been already. It will be interesting to see how polished each of these games will be considering the sheer number of titles they intend to release. EA looks to be quite ambitious in 2009.
