Peggle is the type of game that needs no introduction so we will simply skip that portion. PopCap has decided to feed its fans addictions by letting them participate in the creation of new in-game content. That's right, PopCap is having a contest that will feature a few lucky winner's hard work in the next Peggle game or add-on content.
The contest has already begun so there is no time to waste. Entries may consist of pretty much anything that can be used in the Peggle universe. A couple examples would be a new character or a new level layout. Artistic talent isn't necessarily required, anything goes as long as it's creative.
Contestants may submit their work via email or snail mail. There will be two age categories: 18 and up, and 17 and below with signed parental consent. The contest is open to U.S. and U.K. residents.
The submissions will be judged on creativity, playability and feasibility. They will be judged by the fine folks who work on the game itself. Finalists work will be posted on the official site.
All entries must be received by June 3rd, and the winners will be announced on June 30th. The winners work will be featured in either a whole new Peggle game, or as a Peggle Nights bonus content pack.
Prizes include a trip for two to Seattle to visit PopCap's headquarters, an iPhone or Xbox with PopCap games pre-installed, Best Buy shopping spree, gift cards, various Peggle swag and more.
