Bobby Carrot 2 Now Available At An Introductory Price

April 22, 2009

It has become the norm at the App Store to offer applications at an introductory price.  This benefits early adopters instead of penalizing them, and I for one am all for it.  Bobby Carrot 2 is just one of the many applications following this pricing scheme, but instead of offering the introductory price for an unknown "limited time," they are simply going with the first 24 hours of availability. So here is how this works, Bobby Carrot was originally released in 2004 for various mobile phones.  It ended up being a series of five puzzle games, with the last being Bobby Carrot Forever, a game we actually reviewed only a little while back.  FDG Entertainment has decided to bring all five games to the App Store, but silly as they are, they started with the fifth game in the series instead of the first.  They are now releasing episodes 1-4 at the App Store, and we are obviously on number two as we speak. Bobby Carrot 2 features two game modes, Carrot and Easter egg.  Carrot mode is the classic game of 30 levels that requires you to collect all of the carrots in a level.  Easter egg mode is simply 20 bonus levels not included in the original game. If you enjoy the Bobby Carrot series, this is a great deal.  We will try to keep track of all of these games as they are released in case this whole 24 hour introductory price thing keeps on occurring. Bobby Carrot 2 is available at the App Store for $.99.  Sometime tomorrow it will be returning to its regular price of what we can only assume to be $2.99.
