Brand New Star Defense Gameplay Trailer And Screens

Hit developer and publisher ngmoco has just released new screenshots and gameplay footage for their upcoming tower defense title Star Defense.
In Star Defense, you must defend your mineral resource depot from the evil alien horde by strategically placing towers around the map. The maps are 3-D planets that you are able to twist and spin by utilizing the iPhone's unique control scheme. Aliens can't roam freely however, they are funneled through paths that are carved into the planets, allowing you to strategically place the towers.
Star Defense will ship with 7 planets, 5 upgradeable tower types, and 3 difficulty settings. Star Defense should be available sometime in early May, but don't worry about the wait because we have a brand new video embedded below to tide you over.
