Dev-Team Releases Redsn0w Beta For 2G iPod Touch

The Dev-Team has just released a beta version of redsn0w that will allow second generation iPod touch users to jailbreak their device. The free download is available immediately for Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows users.
The Dev-Team released the beta in hopes to simplify the jailbreaking process for second generation iPod touch users. The redsn0w beta currently relies on the user running it from a command line, so if you aren't confident with using the command line, they recommend to hold off for a simpler tool that will be released sometime in the future.
The team intends on building this new redsn0w functionality into their GUI applications. So, once again, if you aren't confident in your ability, hold off for a bit.
