Flight Control 1.1 Update Now Available
April 29, 2009
Flight Control had held the top position on the App Store's paid applications list for over one month, and it was only within the last couple of days that it had finally dropped from that position. Firemint looks to reclaim the top spot by finally releasing the very first update to Flight Control.
The update contains some of the usual minor bug fixes, but the real treat is the addition of online connectivity. Firemint has added their own Cloudcell technology which enables various online features like online high scores and leader boards, location based leader boards, Google Maps support from their website, and Twitter support. The other big addition is autosave, so now you can leave the game without having to start all over.
Even with this new update, Flight Control remains at the $.99 introductory price, so get it while it's hot. As always, the update is free to anyone who has already purchased the game.
