iPhone And iPod Touch Dominate 2008 Engadget Awards

Engadget recently released their 2008 Engadget Awards and the results are pretty phenomenal, at least if you are an Apple fanboy. Some may consider the iPhone winning Gadget of the Year from the editors of a technology based website a grand achievement, but in the end, who really cares what a few editors have to say?  What's really impressive is when the readers feel the same way. Endgadget's editors chose the iPhone as the Gadget of the Year as well as Smartphone of the Year.  The iPod touch was able to garner enough votes to take home the Handheld of the Year award as well as Portable Media Device of the Year.  The best part is, their readers voted exactly the same in all of those categories. A few other Apple products were also able to nab some awards including the Unibody MacBook Pro, voted as Laptop of the Year. Alright, so these aren't exactly the Oscars, but it is always pleasant to see our beloved Apple products taking home awards, especially readers' choice awards. Do you agree with their final results, or would you have voted differently? [via Engadget]
