Nine Inch Nails Releases Their First Official iPhone App

April 15, 2009

nineaccess

It took nearly a week longer than we expected, but Nine Inch Nails has finally gotten their very first official application placed at the App Store titled nin: access. ninaccess_screen The application had been stuck in App Store limbo for nearly a week, allowing fans to lose sight of its impending release after the initial media blast that it had received from sites like Digg.com.  That is irrelevant now because the application has arrived and it delivers just as promised. If you somehow missed our initial coverage of the application, here is a little recap.  nin: access allows you to access all sorts of Nine Inch Nails related content such as news, videos, photos from the band as well as fans, and even streaming music.  The content is formatted for easy viewing and listening on your iPhone or iPod touch. nin: access also contains a built-in social networking feature that allows you to connect with other fans.  It uses the iPhone's GPS capabilities to find other fans as close to or as far away from you as you wish.  You can then view profiles, content, and just general information about other users allowing you to socially interact if you so chose. All of this is available for free at the App Store.  That's right, nin: access is a completely free application, you have nothing to lose by simply giving it a try. So go Nine Inch Nail fans, just stop reading and go get your fix!
