In Primate Plunge you take control of a monkey appropriately named Monkey in a quest to navigate your way down through various treacherous environments. The game was originally created in 2003 for the Mac and has now been remade into an iPhone platformer that utilizes the device's unique controls.
The goal of Primate Plunge is to get Monkey through the 6 different beautifully hand-drawn environments as quickly as possible without being killed by the spikes above. You control Monkey by tilting your the device left or right. Touching the screen will drop Monkey to a platform below. There are power-ups scattered across the environment that will help assist you in your quest.
For added replayability, Primate Plunge contains a high-score system and a star rating for each world. This should keep most of you busy for some time, especially if you intend to perfect each world.
Primate Plunge is available at the App Store for the introductory price of $1.99, so get it while it is cheap. The game is also still available as freeware for all desktop platforms if you care to give it a try.
