If you took the time to watch Apple's iPhone OS 3.0 event, you may have witnessed an interesting demonstration of Smule's newest musical application, Leaf Trombone: World Stage.  It created quite a bit of buzz among music game fans who ever since witnessing the demonstration, have been eager to get their own hands on time with the application, and now it is finally available at the App Store. leaftrombone_screen Today Smule has released Leaf Trombone: World Stage, the first massively-mutliplayer musical game available for the iPhone.  Leaf Trombone has tons of features to keep you busy online and offline.  There is a self tutorial mode that allows you to learn how to play the instrument by guiding you to the correct notes.  You can also take Leaf Trombone online to perform in front of a global audience.  Submit a song to perform in front of the judges who will critique you on your performance using a combination of text and emoticons.  Judges can then rate you on a scale of 1-10 and the evaluation is added to your online standings and rank. You can also turn the tables and be the judge, or even sit back and relax as a member of the audience to simply listen to others perform. If you enjoyed Smule's other creations, especially Ocarina, you might want to give Leaf Trombone a try.  Leaf Trombone: World Stage is available today for the measly sum of $.99.
