Tap Of The Dead - Tap Sequences To Kill Zombies
April 15, 2009
Everyone loves to kill zombies, it's a simple fact. Gamers have been gobbling up zombie killing titles for ages, so it is up to developers to find different ways to keep zombie killing interesting. One developer has decided to take a few pages from one of Sega's more interesting franchises to create a new zombie killing game for the iPhone titled Tap of the Dead.
Tap of the Dead plays off of the concept from Sega's Typing of the Dead, but instead of typing, you will be tapping the zombies to death. Tap of the Dead requires you to tap a sequence of shapes in the shortest amount of time possible in an attempt to ward off the zombie horde that has infected New York City.
The unique control scheme allows you to witness the action at all times, and since the game contains some very interesting graphics and a hefty amount of blood, you are in for a show. Tap of the Dead feautres over 45 unique levels based on real locations in New York City. The game contains a quick pace and is easy to pick up for those times when you only have a moment to play. Since Tap of the Dead features an autosave system, you won't have to worry about losing your progress.
The developer Try This Networks intends on supporting the game for the long haul, with planned updates to add leader boards and even a survival mode.
Tap of the Dead is available at the App Store for $1.99.
