After months and months of waiting and rumors, Apple has finally released the latest update to Mac OS X Leopard, 10.5.7. The list of fixes and changes is bound to be quite long, but in terms of it's effect on the iPhone, at least one change is going to make the upgrade worth it for iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 5 users: the ability to sync Notes via iTunes 8.2 Pre-Release 2. We're hard at work here dissecting and examining this update as I type this so be on the look out later on for a follow up to this post detailing the good and the bad as it relates to the iPhone, MobileMe and iTunes. In the meantime, be sure to check out Apple Support's own Knowledge Base Article about their latest operating system update right here and to download the update for yourself, run Software Update and begin your download now as it might take a while - it's topping the scales at over 400MB.
