Critically Acclaimed Tower Defense Game geoDefense Gets Updated

Judging from the sheer amount of fantastic tower defense games available at the App Store, you could say that the iPhone was built specifically to play them, or at least it seems that way. When you think of the genre on the iPhone, the first game that comes to mind is Fieldrunners, but there are others that are just as good, or even considered better by some. geoDefense is one of those games, and recently it received an update that should only make it more enjoyable.
geoDefense sports the classic tower defense gameplay, but it's the solid interface coupled with the vectorized graphics that sets this one apart from the rest. The game originally launched with 30 levels with varying difficulties, and 5 tower types that have 7 levels each. geoDefense is simple to learn, but difficult to master, so even the most seasoned tower defense veterans can get the most out of this game.
With the new 1.2 update that was just recently released, you get all of this plus 4 new levels and a myriad of weapon tweaks and improvements. If you have let geoDefense fall off of your radar, it is about time to pick it back up again.

Below is the entire list of updates, additions, and improvements for geoDefense 1.2, and a gameplay video:
- 4 New Diabolical Levels! 2 Medium, 2 Hard (featuring new Creep!)
- Improvement: Laser Towers will now favor creeps in range even if they were locked onto some other target farther away.
- New Feature: When a LaserTower is level 2 and above, you can double-tap it to lock/unlock its facing.
- Fix: Info plate correctly shows "Medium" and "Hard", not just "Easy" on game restore.
- New Feature: Pulsar Creep. Repulses blaster and missile shots.
- New Feature: Level 7 Missiles Towers never lock onto Pulsar Creeps.
- New Feature: Level 5 and above Missiles will sometimes break target lock when they are repulsed by Pulsar Creeps.
- Improvement: Level 7 Blaster and Missile Towers will always favor the creep that is farthest along the path that are within range.
- Improvement: Level 7 Blaster (Sniper) shots move twice as fast as normal blaster shots. Since they have longer range, this improves their accuracy.
- Improvement: level 7 Laser Towers will always shoot in the direction that hits the most creeps (given a target that is in range).
- Improvement: More effective Shock Towers: They now favor the faster creeps but still shock all they can rather than just ignoring those that have already been slowed (but number of beams per tower is adjusted to account for stacking).
- Balance Tweak: Damage from level 6 and level 7 LaserTower increasesd.
- Balance Tweak: Level 7 Missiles (Photons) somewhat tighter turning radius.
- Improvement: Disabled "shake phone to pop vortex towers" since it was seldom used on purpose, but often done by mistake.
- Improvement: The option to have the tower place point be "above" the touch point is now the default (improvement for new players).
