Sometime during yesterday evening, the second large update to Pocket God was released, bringing us one step closer to the popular games new price of $1.99 instead of the usual $.99.
Developer Bolt Creative has decided to try and take Pocket God to a whole new level by introducing much more intriguing elements to the lives of the islanders. They announced that a new trilogy of updates would be the first step in doing just that, and once the trilogy was over, the price would be raised to $1.99 to counter the amount of work they are putting into the game. The first two updates of the trilogy have now been released, leaving only about one more week for you to pick the game up at $.99. Of course, all updates are free for anyone who already owns the game.
The 1.15 update brings another new element to the game, a momma T-Rex. Like any good mother would do, the momma T-Rex enters the mix when you disturb its baby. Pick up and drop the dinosaur egg that's located on the new island three times, once you do so, the egg will crack and the baby dinosaur will cry for its mother. Momma T-Rex will then enter the screen and start gobbling up any and all of your islanders until you shoo her away. The timing of the update is kind of fitting considering Mother's Day is almost here.
Next weeks final trilogy update is titled "Return of the Pygmy." Are there any of you out there who just can't get enough of Pocket God?
