We have something a little bit different for you casual gamers out there. Do you remember those old plastic ring games where you fill the tank with water and constantly push a button that propels the rings up the tank in an attempt to lasso them around an object? A new game titled Watercule is a modern take on that old classic with a bit of a twist.
In Watercule, you must tap the lower portion of the screen to propel multiple balls up the screen in an attempt to hit falling objects to score points. You can tilt the device from side to side to get as many objects as possible, but you must keep tapping the bottom of the screen to keep the balls suspended. Watercule will feature three different game modes with more to come, and an online high score system so you can compare your scores with friends.
The game uses the same basic concept of another App Store game, Aqua Hoops, but with an entirely different scoring system, so if you enjoy games of that nature, it's safe to say you will enjoy this one.
Watercule isn't quite available yet as it was only submitted to the App Store yesterday, but it should be arriving sometime around the end of the month.
Embedded below is a gameplay video for Watercule.
