Put Your Exploring Shoes On, It's Time To 'Return To Mysterious Island'

It sure didn't take long for Chillingo and company to get Return to Mysterious Island out the door and into the App Store.  It was only two days ago when we released the preview trailer for the game along with some screenshots, but hey, we're definitely not complaining. Return to Mysterious Island is a new iPhone and iPod touch game inspired by the great Jules Verne novel.  The game puts you in the shoes of Mina, a sailor who is stranded on what is assumed to be a deserted island somewhere in the south Pacific.  You must fight for your survival until you are rescued by exploring the island for food, tools, and shelter. Return to Mysterious Island is said to contain about 15 hours of total gameplay, and it includes a full 3D environment, mini-games, intriguing puzzles, ambient sound, and an advanced item combination inventory.  Return to Mysterious Island also has an intuitive in-game tutorial, which will help guide you through your first steps on the island. Return to Mysterious Island is now available in the App Store for $4.99.
