Put Your iPhone Artwork To Good Use With Pogo Stylus Challenge
May 11, 2009
Have you ever tried to draw on your iPhone using one of the many artistic applications available at the App Store, only to run into mass amounts of trouble generating any detail due to your finger not being the most accurate of drawing tools? If you have, and it is likely many of you have, Ten One Designed created the Pogo Stylus just for you. To promote their useful tool, Ten One Design is holding a drawing challenge to see who is the most creative and artistic stylus iPhone drawer out there.
Simply create a unique piece of art using only your Pogo Stylus and an iPhone or iPod touch and submit the finished piece to their website or via email. A panel of judges will be selecting one winner who will receive $500 for their design. All artwork must be submitted by July 1, 2009, and no naked fingers are allowed. To see the entire list of official rules, head on over to their contest page. Ten One Design also offers a nice list of applications to use as your drawing tablet such as Colors!, Flipbook, Brushes, and many more.
“We love to see our customers using the Pogo Stylus creatively,” said Peter Skinner, Ten One Design CEO. “This contest is a catalyst to get our supporters thinking outside the box, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with.”The Pogo Stylus was the first stylus to be compatible with the iPhone and iPod touch. It features a soft tip that allows it to be used on the iPhone's touch-screen surface without the possibility of damaging it. It allows you to navigate, type, and draw on your iPhone or iPod touch more accurately than you could ever imagine. It even doubles as a handy buffer to remove those finger smudges. Ten One Design also recommends the Pogo Stylus for users out there who hate removing their gloves in the dead of winter to perform a simple task. What's your opinion on using a stylus with your iPhone or iPod touch? Is it a necessity, or is it just another piece of hardware that you may accidentally misplace?
