Return to Mysterious Island for the iPhone and iPod touch puts you in the shoes of Mina, a sailor who is stranded on the shores of an island somewhere in the south Pacific. The game allows you to explore your surroundings to uncover artifacts, living spaces, and technologies that have been left behind by the previous inhabitants.
Return to Mysterious Island contains some impressive looking 3D graphics along with an intuitive in-game tutorial to help you through the first parts of your adventure. As you explore the island, you will come across various mini-games and intriguing puzzles, that together with the exploration part of the game should allegedly keep you entertained for over 15 hours of gameplay. Over 15 hours of gameplay seems like a lot for an iPhone game, but Return to Mysterious Island will be clocking in around 420MB, which is over half the size of that other enormous adventure game, Myst.
