Speed Up Or Slow Down - Your Music Will Follow

All the excitement over the iPhone OS 3.0 has developers from all over trying to come up with new apps incorporating the new functionality that will be available - one that's worth mentioning is Adaptunes by Alpha Acid . We couldn't get much information from the developers since it's obviously not ready for release yet, but what we can tell you is that it's an adaptive music player. What does that mean? Well basically it uses GPS to determine your current speed when driving and adjusts the volume of your music accordingly. Feel like zooming past that jerk on the freeway - but don't want to drown out your music? well soon you won't have to worry! Adaptunes will have you covered. Luxury sports cars have been implementing this concept for years, but soon you will be able to bring this cool feature to your old Honda too. Using the new media API, Adaptunes has complete integration with the iPod, so you are able to access all your songs and playlists. Alpha Acid is really trying to spread the word (like most app developers) and are using twitter to do it. Check out their twitter contest and tweet for a chance to win.
