UniWar Lite Now Available, Full Version On Sale

When UniWar was launched in mid-April, it flew up the App Store top paid applications list at warp speed, only to come back down to reality when the initial introductory price disappeared.  To get gamers excited about the game once again, not only has developer Xpressed decided to put UniWar back on sale, but they have also released a free Lite version of the game. UniWar is an online multiplayer turn-based strategy game for the iPhone and iPod touch.  The goal is to build up your army to take down your opponents utilizing the strength of your units and the terrain.  There are 3 races with 8 varied units, over 50 maps to choose from, multiplayer online support, local multiplayer (hot seat), campaign mode, and so much more.  UniWar has been updated to version 1.1 which contains a few bug fixes, plus it now allows you to disallow random game invites, unlocks all solo and versus mode maps, and sets the default time limit to one day.  The full version of UniWar is normally priced at $2.99, but it is currently on sale for $.99 at the App Store. The recently released UniWar Lite contains all of the awesome turn-based strategy goodness, but since it is free they have only included campaign mode, versus AI mode, and local multiplayer (hot seat).  The online multiplayer portion is only available in the full version.  UniWar Lite also features 7 missions in campaign mode, and 3 maps for the other gameplay modes. Give UniWar Lite a try if you enjoy games like Starcraft and Advance Wars.  If you end up liking it, there is no better time than now to purchase the full version since it is on sale.
