Use WreckMate To Easily Record Vital Information After An Accident

Having been involved in a couple of fender-benders myself (none of them were my fault, I swear), I can fully understand the importance of recording every last detail of the accident so the insurance company, along with the silly person who decided to run into you, doesn't get away with not doing their part to remedy the situation.  To make the whole process of taking down all of this information a little easier, developer Steven Nakhla created WreckMate for your iPhone or iPod touch. WreckMate allows you to record accurate information about the other driver, their car, and their insurance details after an accident.  The application also allows you to take photos using your iPhone's camera to record visual evidence of the accident.  WreckMate uses your iPhone's GPS to accurately record the location of the incident as well.  You can also create your own driver profile to quickly and easily exchange information with the other driver. Steven Nakhla is working on making WreckMate even more useful with version 1.1 by adding the ability to email your profile information to the other driver, and you will also be able to email your detailed report to the other driver or insurance company. WreckMate is now available in the App Store for $1.99. Just be sure to have your iPhone along with WreckMate on you at all times, otherwise you will have to resort to the old pen and paper method after an accident.
