There is nothing better than when a developer listens to what their fans have to say, and developer Fuel Games has done just that with their most recent update to Vans SK8: Pool Service for the iPhone. vanssk8_screen In Vans SK8: Pool Service you get to play as Bucky Lasek or Omar Hassan.  You can compete in 10 different events with 20 different board designs from official brands like Black Label and Element.  The game also features some pretty rockin' tunes from The Methadones, Penuckle, Base 9, and Slowride.  Sounds like a blast, right?  Well, some people have had a few complaints about the controls, saying that they were somewhat unresponsive.  Fuel Games listened to those complaints, and they have hopefully fixed the control issues with their most recent 1.1 update. Vans SK8: Pool Service 1.1 update adds these changes and tweaks:
  • Calibration process/timing has been changed
  • Turn sensitivity added to the options
  • Restart option added to the pause menu
  • Added more skateboarding sounds while skating
  • Subtle camera tilt while in the air
Fuel Games' Brian Robbins also gave us some details regarding their next Vans SK8: Pool Service update:
We are also happy to announce that we’ve begun work this week on development of a new pool environment. We don’t have an ETA for when this will be released but it should be included for free to all owners of Vans SK8: Pool Service with the next update.
Still not enough great news for you?  Don't worry, there is even more!  Fuel Games is saying thanks to their fans by putting Vans Sk8: Pool Service on sale for only $2.99, which is $2 of the regular price. Embedded below is a gameplay trailer for Vans SK8: Pool Service:
