We first reported about Wizzley Presto and the Mysterious Time Machine back in April. The game was being developed (and still is) by three guys who basically wanted to prove that they could make a commercial RPG game for the iPhone in just 30 days from scratch. Well, those 30 days are up and it's time to check in on their progress.
The game is pretty much complete, but there are still a few lingering issues. The biggest problem for the team right now is becoming a registered iPhone developer. The team applied for it nearly four full weeks ago, and they still haven't seen any progress. In the meantime, however, they will be adding some of the finishing touches to the game as well as a few bug fixes to ensure solid stability. No matter what the final verdict ends up being on the game's overall success, the team's blog has at least become a go-to place for aspiring iPhone game developers to learn about the trials and tribulations of such a task.
We have included a few screenshots below from the final versions of the game. Don't forget, once the game is placed at the App Store, the team will be awarding a $1,000 prize to the first person to complete it. We will try to keep you updated on the status of the game as it makes its way to the App Store so you can attempt to be the first person to complete the task and get that $1,000 prize that is rightfully yours.
