The Zen Bound update that we first reported on earlier in the week has just hit the App Store. The update contains a whole bunch of new content, but the biggest surprise is that along with the update, Chillingo has decided to drop the price of the game as well.
The 1.2.1 update adds a brand new tree to the mix called the "Tree of Nostalgia." This tree adds an additional 25 levels to the already in place 51 levels. Along with the addition of a new tree, the update fixes these known issues:
Ability to hide in-game user-interface and play the game un-occluded
Smooth and continuous paint spread from rope
Rope interpenetration with objects reduced
Previous game result now displayed correctly
Level beginning says 'Play' instead of 'Continue' if the save game had 0% coverage
Save game issues addressed
As always, the update is free to anyone who already owns the game. If you don't already own the game, however, Chillingo has dropped the price of Zen Bound from $4.99 to the now low price of $2.99. The item description doesn't say anything about this being a temporary sale, so we can only assume that this is a permanent price drop, but if you intend on purchasing the game, do it now just in case.
