Defender Chronicles - A New Perspective On Tower Defense

Chillingo wasted no time getting Defender Chronicles: Legend of the Desert King into the App Store.  The game was released only a day after we posted our hands-on preview for it, but we're not complaining, we welcome new iPhone games with open arms. Defender Chronicles is set in a fantasy medieval world where the capital city of Londrom has fallen to the Orc Hordes.  You are an inexperienced warlord who is destined to defeat the evil Orc king and become a legend. The game uses a 2D side-view that has rarely, if ever, been used in a tower defense game.  This creates a truly unique experience for those of you who are tired of the same old thing.  Defender Chronicles also adds to the fun by throwing in an RPG element, where you can upgrade your warlord with experience points you earn during the game. Defender Chronicles features 5 different game modes, 4 difficulty levels, 5 hand-drawn battlegrounds, 6 different defenders, and 7 original music soundtracks.  Add that all up and you have one very interesting tower defense game. Defender Chronicles: Legend of the Desert King is available immediately in the App Store for the introductory price of $2.99.  This is the first week launch price which means the game will eventually cost $4.99.  Get it while it's cheap.
