AppList only yesterday that features applications that are push notification capable. The list started out small, but now that iPhone OS 3.0 is available to the masses, the list is about to get much, much larger.

Textfree Unlimited: 3.0 update makes text messages just that much easier to kill with push notifications alerting you to new incoming messages. Give contacts your unique @textfree.us account name and say goodbye to monthly text message fees.

Leaf Trombone: World Stage: The OS 3.0 update allows you to judge other performances or put yours out there for the world to see. When someone judges your performance you'll be sent a push notification to let you know.

AP News: 3.0 update pushes breaking news alerts even when app is closed. You can also send articles to Evernote in the new update.
