Handmark's Futuristic Racer Phaze Now Available In The App Store

We gave you a sneak peek video of Phaze about two weeks ago, which showed off some of the high-speed gameplay the title has to offer, and now Handmark's new futuristic racer is finally available in the App Store. Strap on your helmet because Phaze throws you into one high-speed racing environment.  In Phaze, your race craft is controlled via the iPhone's accelerometer.  You can aim for the boost pads that are scattered all over the tracks to achieve warp speed to fly by your opponents.  You must also utilize the various weapons and power-ups within the game to avoid getting passed up. The game features 16 different tracks, 3 high tech race crafts to choose from initially with 7 more that are unlockable, 6 types of weapons and defense power-ups, and 4 difficulty levels.  Phaze is kind of a mix between F-Zero and Wipeout, so if you were a fan of either of those classic titles, Phaze is sure to please.
