iPhone 3G Vs. iPhone 3G S: What We Know So Far
June 9, 2009
When you purchase your new iPhone 3G S and you go to show it off to your friend who has the measly iPhone 3G, you need to be sure you know every possible detail about your new device so you can rub in how inferior their iPhone is compared to your shiny new one. We have dug up some nice comparison charts to help you do just that without having to read too many extra words.
The image above was put together by Engadget. It is a basic comparison of the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3G S. The biggest items worth noting are that the iPhone 3G S includes a 3.0 megapixel camera, video recording and editing, voice dialing and voice control, and 7.2Mbps HSDPA.
We have also included Apple's own comparison charts below, which is more of the same except they point out the inclusion of a digital compass in the iPhone 3G S. Also pictured below is a more thorough battery comparison and "What's in the box."
There are still a few facts missing here, like the actual processor and speed of the processor being used in the iPhone 3G S, but those details will be filled in once the device is officially released. So what do you think? Is the new iPhone 3G S enough of an upgrade to warrant a purchase?
