The number one thing on everyone's mind during the WWDC '09 keynote today had to be new iPhone hardware, but coming in a close second was the release date for Apple's highly anticipated iPhone OS 3.0. Apple's iPhone OS 3.0 will be available to everyone, including iPod touch owners on June 17th.  The new OS will feature everything we have talked about before, including cut, copy, and paste, landscape typing in all key applications, Spotlight support across the entire device, peer-to-peer Bluetooth gaming, push notifications, in-app purchasing, and a ton of other new features. The iPhone OS 3.0 update will be available to all iPhone owners for free.  iPod touch users will have to pay a one-time fee of $9.95 to obtain the update, which is a small price to pay for all of the new features you will be getting.
