Along with everything else announced at WWDC this year, one very interesting and cool feature is called "Find My iPhone," which will be part of iPhone OS 3.0 when it's released on June 17. However, this feature is only available to MobileMe users. If you lose your iPhone MobileMe will help you locate it. You have to enable the feature in the MobileMe settings of your iPhone and after doing that, you can log in to your me.com account and click on Account Settings and then click on the Find My iPhone section which then will reveal your phone's approximate location on a map. Additionally, you have the option to Remote Wipe your iPhone if you think that your phone is truely lost and you won't be getting it back. That'll protect your data from getting compromised and is definately an awesome added option. If you're at home and you think that you maybe just lost the phone in the couch or something, you can also tell MobileMe to play a sound on your iPhone that will play regardless of the Sound settings on your iPhone. You can also send a text-message to your phone that can display instructions for returning the phone if you think you left it where someone wouldn't steal the phone but instead have morals and do the right thing and return it. How many of you are more interested in subscribing to MobileMe now that this feature will be available on the 17th? I already have MobileMe but know that I'd get it for this feature alone!
