Ngmoco's Highly Anticipated Star Defense Now Available

It has been a long time coming, but ngmoco has finally decided to let us have it. Today ngmoco took center stage during Apple's WWDC '09 keynote and announced that Star Defense would be available immediately in the App Store.
Star Defense is ngmoco's take on the tower defense genre. You must utilize your vast amount of towers to stop the incoming alien forces. You are able to use 5 different classes of towers which equals a total of 15 different weapons. Star Defense also sports some very unique 3-D environments and multi-touch controls that should give this tower defense game a fresh feel.
The real selling point for Star Defense is the Twitter and Facebook integration. You can compete in Challenge Mode to achieve your highest score possible and then send the challenge to a friend to see if they can top your score. This feature also works via email for you non-social networking gamers out there.
Star Defense is available in the App Store for $5.99.
