It looks like the iPhone 3G S is off to a strong start.  Apple has just announced that they have sold over one million iPhone 3G S units during the first three days of availability.
“Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “With over 50,000 applications available from Apple’s revolutionary App Store, iPhone momentum is stronger than ever.”
That puts early iPhone 3G S sales right on par with the iPhone 3G's.  It is only the first three days, however, so it will be interesting to see if the iPhone 3G S can keep up the pace. Apple also noted that six million customers have downloaded the new iPhone 3.0 software since June 17th. Were you one of the one million people to purchase the iPhone 3G S during launch weekend?
