One of the new features in the iPhone 3.0 firmware is the ability to utilize your music library within an app - and developers are definitely starting to take advantage.
Ngmoco, one of the leading publishers of iPhone and iPod touch games has released an update for Topple 2, which is available in the App Store now for $2.99.
The update integrates your iPod music library playlists into Topple 2. CEO and Founder of ngmoco, Neil Young says, "ngmoco is excited to include iPhone OS 3.0 functionality in our award winning Topple 2. This update will give users more control of their iPod music and is a perfect follow-up to our previous social and game-play expanding updates."
Topple 2 v1.3 allows users to stack to their own music and don't have to leave the app if they are not grooving to a song. Other features include the ability to send multiplayer challenges using social network sites, such as Twitter and Facebook. You can also view scores from other players from around the globe and compete with them directly.
With over 30 different levels and new access to your music playlist this game is likely to keep you entertained for a while.
The new iPhone OS 3.0 provides developers with more freedom to personalize applications, as we are seeing with Topple 2 and many other apps, that are either being updated or released as a result of the new OS.
