Warpack Grunts Marches Into App Store

The squad-based arcade shooter Warpack Grunts made its way into the App Store late last night. The game borrows heavily from the Amiga classic Cannon Fodder, but it should appeal to almost any fan of simple arcade shooters.
Warpack Grunts is a top-down squad-based shooter where you are able to control a squad of grunts who are armed to the teeth with weapons like M-16s, sniper rifles, grenades, and more. You will also be able to command powerful tanks and helicopters in your quest to defeat the "Evil Dude."
To control your squad, touch a spot on the map and your units will follow. To shoot, double-tap on an enemy target. Your squad of grunts and vehicles are both controlled in this same simple manner.
The game features 40 levels, four levels of difficulty, online leader boards, and a special unlockable survival mode to add to the longevity of the game.
Warpack Grunts is now available in the App Store for $.99.
