Adaptunes Updated - Win A Download Code

Adaptunes is a unique iPhone application that is able to automatically adjust the volume of your device based on your speed, or at least that's what it used to do. With the most recent 1.1 update, Adaptunes is now able to operate on the iPod touch via motion-based controls instead of just using GPS. To celebrate its release, Alpha Acid has sent us some download codes to pass on to you fine folks.
The real highlight of the update is obviously support for the iPod touch via the motion-based controls. The new motion-based controls can be customized just like the speed-based controls. Simply set your motion sensitivity and the app will adjust your volume based on your movement. The update also adds a bunch of other worthy features listed below.

- Ability to add and delete profiles
- Profile editor: set how much influence motion has on volume, adjust motion sensitivity
- New profile types for jogging and exercising
- Playlist saves between sessions
- Selected profile saved between sessions
- Smoother volume changes
- Shuffle and repeat buttons
- Volume returns to normal level when exiting
- New option to prevent sleep mode
- Minor interface tweaks

We will be giving away three (3) download codes today, July 7, 2009. Two (2) will be given away via our website, and one (1) will be given away via Twitter. To win Adaptunes through our website, just leave a comment below telling us what kind of transportation you normally use. Is it a vehicle? If so, what kind? If you don't drive a vehicle, simply tell us your other means of transportation. Our winners will be chosen at random, so no need to worry. Only one entry per person, and as always with download codes, they are only redeemable through U.S. iTunes accounts. Winners will be notified via email.
To win a download code via Twitter, just follow our Twitter feed and wait for a code to be tweeted (sometime today). Then, simply enter the code into your iTunes account as fast as possible. The first person to successfully redeem the code wins.
